Vinlex Technologies – 12-Month Limited Warranty Policy

1. Introduction

At Vinlex Technologies, we take pride in offering high-quality, professionally refurbished devices. We stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. This Limited Warranty Policy (“Warranty”) is designed to provide customers with confidence in their purchase, outlining the coverage, terms, conditions, and procedures for warranty claims.

This Warranty is valid for twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase and applies exclusively to refurbished smartphones and devices sold directly by Vinlex Technologies.

2. Coverage Details

Under this Warranty, Vinlex Technologies will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of a device, at our sole discretion, if the device experiences a mechanical or internal failure due to defects in materials or workmanship during normal usage.

Covered issues include, but are not limited to:

  • Internal component failure (motherboard, internal circuitry)
  • Battery malfunction or severe degradation (below 80% health within warranty period)
  • Non-functional buttons (volume, home button, power button)
  • Display failures (excluding physical damage) such as:
    • Touchscreen becoming unresponsive without external cause
    • Display no longer illuminating (e.g., black screen without physical impact)
  • Charging port malfunction due to internal defect
  • Speaker or microphone failure due to internal defect
  • Camera functionality failure (hardware-based, not software-related)

Important: Coverage applies only to issues arising from normal internal defects. This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, external damage, unauthorized modifications, or cosmetic wear and tear.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage, drops, impacts, or pressure damage
  • Liquid damage (including moisture, spills, humidity exposure)
  • Damage from unauthorized repair, modification, or tampering
  • Software or app-related issues not tied to hardware failure
  • Cosmetic imperfections (scratches, dents, minor frame scuffs)
  • Lost, stolen, or misplaced devices
  • Issues caused by use with third-party accessories (e.g., incompatible chargers)
  • Damage resulting from improper storage (e.g., extreme temperatures, water exposure)
  • Normal wear and tear over time (e.g., minor battery aging consistent with regular use)

If any of the excluded types of damage are present, Vinlex Technologies reserves the right to deny the warranty claim.

4. Battery Health Coverage

All refurbished smartphones sold by Vinlex Technologies are guaranteed to have a battery health of 80% or greater at the time of sale. Should the battery capacity fall significantly below 80% during the warranty period without signs of misuse or external damage, Vinlex will replace the battery at no cost.

Signs of battery misuse or damage that will void battery coverage include:

  • Swelling caused by physical puncture or misuse
  • Evidence of third-party battery replacement
  • External signs of overheating or liquid damage

5. Filing a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us:
    Submit a warranty claim request by emailing team@vinlex.net or contacting us through our website. Include:
    • Your full name and contact information
    • Proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice)
    • Description of the issue
    • Clear photographs or video showing the issue, if applicable
  2. Device Assessment:
    Upon receiving your claim, our support team will guide you through an initial troubleshooting process. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, you will be instructed to ship the device to our repair center for physical inspection.
  3. Shipping Instructions:
    Customers are responsible for securely packaging the device to prevent further damage during shipment. Vinlex Technologies will cover the cost of return shipping after the warranty service is complete.
  4. Inspection & Approval:
    Once the device is received, a certified technician will perform a diagnostic inspection to determine whether the defect is covered under this Warranty. If the issue is covered, Vinlex will proceed with repair, replacement, or refund.

If the issue is not covered (e.g., user damage is found), customers may choose to:

  • Approve a paid repair at a quoted cost, or
  • Request return shipment of the device (customer responsible for return shipping fee)

6. Repair, Replacement, or Refund Terms

If a device qualifies for warranty service, Vinlex Technologies may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the device using new or refurbished parts; or
  • Replace the device with a comparable device of similar make, model, and cosmetic grade; or
  • Refund the original purchase price, minus any shipping or processing fees

Repaired or replacement devices continue to be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty period or 90 days after the repair/replacement date, whichever is longer.

7. Transferability

This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of original purchase is required for all warranty claims.

8. Limitations of Liability

Vinlex Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the device. Our maximum liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Under no circumstances shall Vinlex Technologies be responsible for:

  • Loss of personal data, photos, videos, or contacts
  • Loss of business, revenue, profits, or goodwill

Customers are responsible for backing up all personal data before sending devices for warranty service.

9. Final Terms

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary by province or territory within Canada.

Vinlex Technologies reserves the right to amend or update this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes will not affect existing purchases retroactively.
